Affordable Model Railroads, Who We Are And What We Do:
Affordable Model Railroads was founded to provide a cost effective means of providing custom model railroads for those individuals or groups that want to enjoy owning and operating a custom model railroad but do not have the ability, time, patience, knowledge or expertise to do all or part of it themselves.
We have the capability to construct custom model railroads in our shop, or if you prefer we can send a team to your location and work on your custom model railroad on-site.....even if you have already started construction!
Affordable Model Railroads provide services that include all phases of designing and building custom model railroads ready for you to operate. We also offer a-la-carte services including model railroad layout design services, full sized track plan prints, photo-realistic backdrops, structure kit assembly, painting and weathering, ready to place scenery and module or diorama construction.
When we build custom model railroads we will always conduct ourselves in a professional manner, but never forget the hobby of model railroading is all about having fun. We will always produce work that is to the very best of our abilities regardless of the scope of the work. We will charge a fair and competitive price for all our custom model railroads. We will always work in an efficient and timely manner, but never at the expense of quality. We will treat your project and your budget as if it was our own custom model railroad. We will not close the project until we have completely fulfilled the terms of our contract.
